It's been a long winter. We've been under piles of snow since the first storm back in the beginning of December. I love cold weather, but even I am more than ready to see leaves and flowers and green grass - or any ground at all, really - again.
Henry disagrees:
He loves it when his ball is hidden under snow and he has to dig for it. And, as you can see, the sun came out and the sky was blue. It's still cold, but spring is coming.

That's a beautiful scene, Helen. I'm glad I can enjoy it from the warmth of my house, and not have to be out walking my dog in the snow!
Looking forward to spring here, too.
What a fantastic photo! Beautiful snowy scene, pretty trees, blue shadows... and a dog, bum-up, obviously delighted with the situation.
Thanks, Helen. I needed the laugh your photo gave me. I've put it on my desktop. :D
So cuuuuuute – you gotta love dogs! They just take such great pleasure in things – a good lesson, I think!

I love your posts on Henry. Our dogs bring such joy to our lives.
We had 20 inches of snow on Tues/Wed and I woke up to a couple more inches this morning. I have been daydreaming about really warm temperatures as I sit in my swimsuit. So glad we can daydream, although the snow is beautiful as it comes down.
Our dogs certainly do bring joy to our lives.
It is still sooo cooold! I am so ready for spring.
River LOVES snow too! ~;o) And she's all pouty that we haven't had much this year!
