Isn't it amazing how quickly our bodies heal? When my dog bit me last year, the initial wound was horrific. Looking at it gave me an unpleasant tickly feeling in my middle. But a few weeks later, it looked much less frightening. And now, more than a year later, the scar is barely visible.
I'm so glad you're healing so quickly and so well, Helen. You're one of the most courageous people I know, and I'm looking forward to reading more about your journey.

Hurrah - really glad you're making such good progress ... and I hope it's less itchy now! :-)
Wren - I know exactly what you mean. When I looked at the incision in the first few days after surgery I could always feel my knees going wobbly.
